Received a Response to Your Vacancy? Respond Quickly!

When someone responds to your vacancy, the contact person of the organization and the contact person of the vacancy will be notified by email. These can be different people, but they don’t have to be. The applicant’s details are in the email, and you can also find responses to your vacancy in the system under “Our applications

To respond to this application, click on the name of the person who responded to your vacancy. You can also click on “Next step” on the right, but that will take you to the same screen.

Afbeelding23 - reactie op je vacature terugvinden

Here you can see and manage everything about the candidate. You can easily contact them or indicate if you don’t think it’s a match based on the application letter or CV, etc. using the buttons on the right. Below you will find an explanation of the buttons.

  • Contact: You can send an email from the system to the candidate. This email will also be saved with the applicant, so you have all information in one place. You will receive a copy of this email at your own email address. PLEASE NOTE! When you send an email from the system, make sure the checkbox ‘send email to candidate‘ is checked! Otherwise, it becomes an internal memo for the candidate and no email will be sent. Does the candidate reply to the email? Then you will receive an email at your own email address.
  • Accept: Have you found a suitable candidate? Great! You can then click on accepted. You will then have the option to take action and send an email to the candidate, but we recommend calling instead. Uncheck the ‘send email to candidate‘ checkbox and choose save. The candidate will then be listed as ‘Accepted’.
  • Candidate withdraws: Has the candidate not responded? Is it impossible to make contact, or has someone changed their mind? Then click ‘candidate withdraws’ and press save.
  • No match: Turns out it’s not a match after all? Then click ‘no match’. Here too, you have the option to take action by sending an email, but this is not required. If you don’t want to do this, uncheck the ‘send email to candidate’ checkbox and choose save (see image above). The candidate will then be listed as ‘no match’.
