The independent expertise center for volunteer work in Amsterdam.

Amsterdam is full of people who want to make a difference, for others or for the city. With their time, talent, or simply the desire to do something. Small gestures with great significance. And there are plenty of organizations that are committed to the city, but often do not have enough people or the right knowledge.

Goodwill deserves a good place. That is where we start.

We know Amsterdam inside out. With our knowledge and our extensive network, we bring people and organizations together and strengthen volunteer work in the city. Together, we are building an Amsterdam where doing something for another is natural and everyone’s contribution counts.

What do we stand for?

We combine current knowledge with years of experience.

We bring parties together: tailored and with care.

We have no vested interest and closely observe what people, organizations, and the city need.

What do we do?

1) We help Amsterdammers find suitable volunteer work.

We help Amsterdammers find volunteer work that brings them joy and fulfillment. In our online job bank there are about 1000 possibilities. In addition, we keep consultation hours at 20 locations in Amsterdam: personal and without pressure.

2) We strengthen organizations with advice, training, and knowledge

We support organizations – from small to large, from culture to welfare – in everything that comes with working with volunteers. From recruitment and guidance to policy and finances. We do this among other things for free. advice conversations in in workshops & trainings.

3) We encourage collaboration in the city

We bring together volunteers, organizations, neighborhoods, and partners in the city and encourage collaboration. This creates new connections and opportunities to make a difference together.

4) We increase the visibility and appreciation of volunteer work

We make visible what volunteer work means for Amsterdam and highlight volunteers and organizations. With campaigns, events, and moments of appreciation, we show how valuable their commitment is.
