Who we are

Business Involved is the initiative in Amsterdam that connects companies and their employees to social initiatives.

We help companies and organizations find the right connections with each other to make their social engagement concrete, feasible, and valuable: for everyone and for the city of Amsterdam.

Locally rooted, professionally organized

Business Involved is carried out by Volunteers Central Amsterdam (VCA), on behalf of the Municipality of Amsterdam. VCA has been bringing people, organizations, and businesses together for many years and has in-depth knowledge of the social landscape of the city.

Thanks to this solid foundation, we combine a large local network with years of experience. This means:

Our vision

We do not work with individual activities, but we build on sustainable collaborations with long-term results. Collaborations that align with the ambitions and capabilities of a company, and the needs and growth ambitions of societal organizations.

Business Involved believes it is important for companies to collaborate structurally and long-term with the societal organizations in the city. In doing so, we aim for Amsterdam companies to truly make a difference for a better city.
