Meet new volunteers during NLdoet!

On the 10th and 11th of March, NLdoet is back, two days when people all over the Netherlands volunteer for a day. A day of painting, renovating a playground, creating a neighborhood garden, or organizing a game afternoon for residents of a nursing home. Do you have any tasks that would be fun to tackle as a group? Or is it time for a fun activity and could you use some extra hands? Tips for a successful NLdoet

• Visit a local supermarket, bakery, or butcher and ask them for a contribution in food and drinks.
• Send the registered volunteers a brief program including the ‘cozy’ parts like coffee and tea time with treats. This way, they can look forward to a pleasant day. Perhaps you could also make time for a tour?
• Create a sign-up sheet for names and email addresses of the present volunteers. This way, you can thank them again a week after NLdoet and inform them about other activities.
• Do you have your own Facebook page? Then post fun photos here in the run-up to NLdoet, during the day, and afterwards. Also a nice way to thank your volunteers afterwards!
