Volunteer Café Language in South

Are you curious about the lives of new people in your neighborhood? As a social person, do you enjoy chatting with others? Do you want to pass on your knowledge and experience to others? And make new contacts? If you invest one or two hours per week in others, you can mean a lot to a new neighbor as a language buddy. You don’t need to have studied for it. Being able to have a conversation with someone is enough.Roelof Hartplein LibraryOn Thursday, April 13, Vrijwilligers Centrale Amsterdam, together with Leef en leer! and the Taal Informatie Punt (TIP) Zuid, will be hosting a Volunteer Café Language from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm). In the library in the heart of Zuid, we will inform everyone who wants to know more about what it means to be a language buddy. Volunteer organizations will present themselves, and you can immediately engage in conversation with those that interest you. We will serve a snack and a drink during the event.

We invite various organizations that are involved in some form of language coaching for different target groups. Come and listen to which one appeals to you the most.
