Topmatch Business Involved: Consulting firm Klimaatroute starts working for Amstergaard
In a city buzzing with innovation and growth, it is important to continue investing in sustainability. This applies not only to businesses but to the entire community. Klimaatroute, a leading energy consultancy, has set out to make a significant impact on the sustainability of Amsterdam. With aThis is a non-translatable text. With a mission to achieve ‘net zero’ by 2040, they help residents, entrepreneurs, and sports clubs save energy. However, this mission goes beyond commercial success. Klimaatroute recently demonstrated their voluntary commitment by collaborating with Amstergaard, an organization focusing on greening the city.
More green in the city
This collaboration is a perfect match made by the team of the VCA Project Business Involved. While Klimaatroute focuses on energy efficiency and sustainability, Amstergaard ensures the preservation and expansion of green spaces in the city. On a sunny Wednesday afternoon, three enthusiastic employees of Klimaatroute rolled up their sleeves and helped maintain the garden of Amstergaard. They renewed the wood chip path and made sure that this green oasis in the heart of Amsterdam became even more accessible to everyone. The reactions within the team were extremely positive, and the enthusiasm was so great (+45 employees) that a second group of colleagues has also helped by now, with more volunteer moments planned. Volunteering is set up within Klimaatroute from their own initiative and supported by the company! Within the workweek, there is now room for this. And the biggest volunteering dream from Klimaatroute? “To dedicate a day (part) with the whole company to a good cause, step by step towards a more sustainable future for Amsterdam.”
Win-Win situation
This collaboration between Klimaatroute and Amstergaard is a wonderful example of how companies can not only pursue their commercial goals but also actively contribute to a better and greener city.
