Are you interested in volunteering? On September 29th, we are organizing a Volunteer Café for people aged 60 and older where you can get information and meet some volunteer organizations in the city center district.
“You can of course complain that the streets are a mess or that people no longer look out for each other, but you can also just do something about it,” is the motto of Dick Schäfer (67)
On September 9th, we organized a speed dating event where new volunteers could receive information and get to know a number of organizations in the city that help people with language, math, and other basic skills.
The Human Library is a library… with people. Because here you ‘borrow’ living books. These books are people you wouldn’t normally talk to so easily.
