Collaborating with companies? Use Business Involved Amsterdam.
How to make optimal use of the new Amsterdam business platform: Business Involved?
Last WednesdayCouncilor Victor Everhardt (Economic Affairs) together with our director Henriette van der Meij and Boudewijn Wijnands (Deedmob) have officially launched the new platform Business Involved. Business Involved connects employees of companies in Amsterdam with social initiatives in the city. It focuses on establishing long-term connections between companies and social institutions, allowing their employees – often English speakers – the opportunity to engage in impactful volunteer work. Additionally, other requests from organizations and offerings from companies will also be featured on this platform. This new online platform for Amsterdam employee volunteering aims to create special, effective, and long-lasting connections between Amsterdam companies and social organizations. It goes beyond just doing volunteer work for an afternoon during work hours, but focuses on creating real and impactful connections. All social organizations and initiatives in the city can make requests and offer activities on the site. As a social organization in the city, this provides a broad platform to communicate their needs for people and resources to companies in the city.
