Georgette is in between jobs and meanwhile volunteers to guide people with disabilities in drawing and painting. “You can be a little silly. They enjoy that.”
Jan Petit has a busy job, but the flexible volunteer work he has been doing recently makes him very happy. “Thanks to her, I have learned: it’s the little things that count!”
Since Titi Bouman has been a volunteer at Zuid voor Mekaar, she has regained her sense of self-worth.
Carla de Vos lost her job after a reorganization. She walked into the Multifunctional Center de Edelsteen in de Pijp. There, she helps people with dementia and their caregivers together with her little dog.
