Badass seniors getting to work as volunteers

It was a cozy hustle and bustle at Huis de Pinto last Thursday, May 16th. Despite Ajax’s celebration happening at the same time elsewhere in the city, visitors flocked to the Volunteer Café for lively seniors and other older youths. Around forty interested individuals listened to eight pitches from various social and cultural projects in the Centrum district. After a musical interlude by Maarten Borger, also a volunteer at Huis de Pinto, people engaged in conversations and exchanged contact information. We received many enthusiastic responses from both the elderly and the organizations. We should do this more often!
