Oscar Zeegers

I’m a native Amsterdammer, have extensive experience as an actor, and also work part-time as a social worker. As a volunteer, I’ve undertaken many fun activities with residents of various nursing homes in Amsterdam, provided training at sports clubs, and helped organize “The Night of the Refugee.” It’s a great honor for me to take on this role as ambassador for VCA. Recently, I hosted the podcast “People Make Mokum,” where I interviewed volunteers about their work and motivation. I love this city with all its residents, with over 180 nationalities, where there is and should be a place for everyone. But society is also a collaborative effort, and I hope that as many people as possible will continue to commit to that ideal.
