Sometimes the relationship with your bank as a volunteer organization is difficult. Sometimes it is even complicated to get a bank account! Association Volunteer WorkNL, together with other industry organizations, has long been committed to good access to a bank account for all volunteer organizations, from large to small. Due to legislation, banks conduct strict controls, making it harder to open a new account, sometimes existing accounts are terminated, and transferring money often takes a long time. Changing treasurers can also be a cumbersome process.To improve this, agreements were made with banks in April 2025.
