Music Moves: for changemakers in the music industry

Music Moves trains young professionals between 18 and 27 years old who organize their own music event or challenge for people we should see and hear more. Think of a disco with homeless people. Salsa dancing with the elderly. Hip-hop battles with young people with disabilities. DJ workshops for new Dutch residents. Amsterdam young adults can also participate!

Volunteer Center Amsterdam is a social partner of Music Moves in Amsterdam. We support the young people and encourage matches with social organizations. We are also involved in the content part of the training program for the youth in the field of volunteering.

“Lunchtime supervisor? I highly recommend it to everyone!”

Rachel is celebrating this week that she has been a lunchtime supervisor at Rijk Kramerschool for 10 years. “It brings me a lot because you get a nice break, also outdoors in the fresh air, and you have nice contacts with your lunchtime colleagues, the teacher of your class, and of course with the children. I especially find the preschoolers really enjoyable.”
