Loes works one morning a week as a hostess at The Traditional Costume Museum. There, she also regularly gives workshops on Staphorst Dot Painting and assists with the setup and dismantling of exhibitions.

Els works monthly in nature, such as hanging birdhouses, pollarding willows, and planting lots of flowers along the ditch banks to increase biodiversity.
