Paula (47) is spastic paralyzed but gets around everywhere with the help of her mobility scooter. “I don’t linger in a negative spiral for long; you can always find something positive in it.”
Right from the first handshake, I saw the sparkle and cheerfulness in Jacqueline’s eyes. She is 70 years old, but in appearance and energy, definitely the new 50.
“I live in the Spaarndammerbuurt, a multicultural neighborhood. Many people speak limited Dutch. I want to make a difference and help people improve their situation.”
