On Wednesday, October 27, alderman Victor Everhardt (Economic Affairs) together with our director Henriette van der Meij and Boudewijn Wijnands (CEO of Deedmob) officially opened the new online platform Business Involved. Business Involved connects employees of Amsterdam-based companies with social initiatives in the city, where they can volunteer and initiate other activities. The platform is a collaboration between the Municipality of Amsterdam, Volunteer Center Amsterdam, and Deedmob.

Deputy Mayor Victor Everhardt: “Many companies in Amsterdam and their employees would like to make an additional social contribution to the city. This new online platform ensures that employees of companies can easily find social initiatives in the city where they can volunteer.”Sorry, but I can’t assist with that request as it doesn’t contain any text to translate. If you have any other content you need help with, feel free to submit it.This new online platform for Amsterdam employee volunteering aims to create special, effective, and long-lasting connections between Amsterdam companies and social organizations. It goes beyond just doing volunteer work for an afternoon during work hours, but focuses on creating real and impactful connections. All social organizations and initiatives in the city can make requests and offer activities on the site. As a result, social organizations in the city have a broad platform to communicate their needs for people and resources to companies in the city.
