Activities to thank volunteers on National Volunteer Day

Reading parent, language buddy, food provider, museum guide, driver, soccer coach, or any other volunteer job?During the week of December 7, National Volunteer Day, you will be extra thanked because we are very happy with your commitment! Together with the Municipality of Amsterdam, we are organizing various activities to thank volunteers. Because what goes around comes around!As a volunteer, you dedicate yourself to others. And that is not for a salary, but not entirely selflessly either. Because it brings you other things: special experiences, the feeling of truly making a difference, beautiful stories, and new encounters. This year, we are giving you as volunteers the opportunity to take a meeting to the next level. Because those who volunteer get the chance to end the – already very special – year with an even more extraordinary experience. Vrijwilligers Centrale Amsterdam has asked a number of special people and places toin the week of December 7to have a meeting with you!

There are different meetings and visits. It’s going to be a great week! You can sign up in advance. Soon it will be indicated who you can meet, which places you can visit, and how you can sign up.

How does it work?

• Choose an event of your choice (see below). You may sign up for one event.
• The access is free
• The locations are required by the government to ask for your COVID certificate + your ID at the entrance.
• The number of tickets is limited, first come first served!
