Volunteer Café for a little more happiness
Discover at your own pace if volunteering is right for you. This was possible during the Volunteer Café ‘For a bit more happiness’. Research shows that doing volunteer work makes people happy. Of the people who do volunteer work, a whopping 91% feel happy. This is compared to 85% of people who do not do volunteer work. This meeting, on Friday, September 10, was especially for people who have temporarily been sidelined by a burnout, depression, or other mental health issues.Couldn’t you be present, but are you curious about the possibilities? Below is a list of the organizations present + the link to their volunteer tasks! There were five volunteer organizations present, sharing information about the volunteer work you can do with them. Afterwards, there was plenty of opportunity to get to know each other better and ask your questions. All of this while enjoying some snacks and drinks.
