Sonny is giving free rock ‘n roll dance lessons for the neighborhood

Sonny: “In the 80s, I walked in a fashion show by Martin Ross, with rock ‘n roll music and beautiful clothing from America from the ‘then’ years. My fascination for rock and roll was born.”

Music connects“I was once approached to dance with Penny de Jager, but I let that opportunity pass to later choose Wim de Haas and Wladimir on the Lijnbaansgracht. I am now retired and every Friday evening I give free Rock ‘n roll dance lessons at the community center de Havelaar. Music connects. Relaxes. Improves fitness and alleviates loneliness.”
Radiate“The best part about the dance classes for me is that I give something to humanity for the rest of their lives. People light up as soon as they feel like they are dancing well and enjoying themselves. I find it beautiful to see. The end result: Enjoying music together to the fullest.”
