Volunteer Appreciation Day South 2024. A special celebration.

District South, together with Volunteer Center Amsterdam, is once again organizing the special Thank You Day for all volunteers from South this year.
The unique event traditionally takes place in the upper hall of the beautiful Concertgebouw. This year on Saturday, November 16.

The program includes a special performance by Ellen ten Damme, among other activities.

Lunch, Happiness, Music, and a Drink

The program looks as follows:

12:30 PM: Doors open, lunch reception in the Foyers Small Hall

1:15 PM: Hall doors open

1:30 PM: Start of the performance in the Small Hall

1:45 PM: Program in the Small Hall

3:15 PM: Closing

3:30-4:30 PM: Drinks with music in the Foyer

About Ellen ten Damme

In celebration of our amazing volunteers in the South, Ellen ten Damme will give an exclusive performance at the Concertgebouw! Ellen ten Damme is an artist pur sang, who lives wholeheartedly for the stage, her art, and her audience. She is a singer, actress, acrobat, dancer, musician, writer, and composer, all at the same time. Few are able to bring music and lyrics to the forefront as powerfully as she does. Sensitive, daring, funny, and boundless. She employs an endless array of theatricality, masquerades, cabaret, variety, and acrobatics, always framed by high musicality. On Saturday, November 16, she will showcase this in an intimate setting, accompanied by piano.

Please note: This meeting is full. You can no longer register, not even for the waiting list. If you had previously registered multiple people, all +1 registrations have been canceled. It is important that we have the name, telephone number, and the organization for which someone volunteers from each guest.
