*) Ask in your immediate surroundings if you can do some shopping for someone or walk their dog. Or let people know by putting a card through the letterbox with your phone number. You can also use the Red Cross ‘Good Neighbour’ card for this, click here to download.

*) Provide digital homework guidance to neighbourhood children/nieces/nephews

*) Cook a bit extra and bring it to the neighbour who currently has no meal provision

*) Bring flowers and/or cards to care homes

*) Do groceries for someone you know who works in a vital sector

*) Play Wordfeud together with an elderly person

>> 3) Help Reade restart

Reade is the leading centre for high-quality specialist rehabilitation medicine and rheumatology in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. They are restarting and need more people to ensure everything runs safely.

They are looking for:

*) Hosts for reception in the lobby

*) Internal patient transport worker (for a ride and a chat)

>> 4) Make a short video for children

Studiezalen Amsterdam currently offers their students distance learning. As part of broadening their horizons, they think it would be fun and meaningful if people would make a short video for these children (groups 6, 7, 8).
This can simply be done with a mobile phone and on a subject of your choice!

>> 5) Digital walking with the elderly

Walking and doing something good for someone has never been easier! Video call an elderly person while walking through Amsterdam and show them your favourite spots in your neighbourhood. This way, an elderly person has a nice chat and also gets to go outside virtually!
