Leila founded the Mother Network Foundation to support parents of children with disabilities: “We connect and build bridges.” What once started as volunteer work is now Leila’s full-time job. “By starting with volunteer work, I discovered a new side of myself and was able to walk my own path.”

On the National Volunteer Day, VCA Zuid organized a cozy volunteer café in Amsterdam de Pijp. About 70 Amsterdammers stopped by to explore volunteer opportunities in this neighborhood.
It’s time for an important ‘thank you’. On National Volunteers Day (December 7), we thank all Amsterdammers who volunteer their time for the city and its residents.
Since December 1, 2023, all volunteer organizations in the Netherlands can participate in the National Volunteer Awards 2024 by submitting a vlog. The registration period runs until February 29, 2024.
On November 15th, people could enjoy music, food, and various fun workshops in Nieuw-West.
