Kimbo van Stralendorff was homeless for only one day in his life, but that was enough to experience how vulnerable you are at that moment. “It taught me that not everything is about money; satisfaction comes from helping others.”
Esther has MS, and this disease drastically turned her life upside down. She had to give up her job, but she didn’t sit back and do nothing. She became active in the MS Association and has since become an energetic hub connecting patients, professionals, and advocates.
Myrthe and Stephan, father and daughter, work together for the Homeless Shelter Chair Project. “In the beginning, it was all very impressive for us, of course.” Now, eight years later, they still enjoy doing this volunteer work.
