Campaign ‘South Needs You’

For volunteer organizations in Zuid: explanation and downloads

VCA launches the campaign ‘Zuid heeft je nodig! Wat heb jij nodig?‘ (South needs you! What do you need?) on October 24, specifically for the Amsterdam Zuid district. With this campaign we want to put volunteers and volunteer work in Zuid in the spotlight and emphasize the importance of their work. At the same time, we ask what volunteers and volunteer organizations need to continue their good work. This campaign targets residents, volunteers, and volunteer organizations in the Zuid district and will run from October 24 through December 22.

We cannot do this campaign without you. We need your help to make the campaign a success. Will you join in?

The campaign materials consist of videos, posters, and cards.

Videos
We have made six short videos (approximately 1 minute) and one long video (4 minutes). The videos showcase the diversity of volunteer work. The volunteers not only tell what they do but also what personal satisfaction they get from volunteering. We ask you to share these videos on your own website and social media. The short videos are intended for social media and the longer version for websites. Below you can download the videos.

Posters
The posters with portraits of the people in the videos were made to also make the campaign visible offline. The QR code on the posters links to vca.nu/over-vca/zuid. Would you be willing to hang up and distribute these posters in your spaces?

Cards
Additionally, there are cards intended for volunteers. On these cards they can fill in their wishes and concerns and send them to us or drop them off at your location. If you have collected cards, let us know at the end of November via amsterdam@vca.nu! We will come pick up the cards.

The posters and cards were sent to all organizations in Zuid on October 23. If you need more cards or posters, email your name and address to amsterdam@vca.nu and we will send them.
