Volunteers’ Café DNB; Make a difference with finances

On Tuesday, May 19, a special Volunteer Café took place in the beautifully renovated building of De Nederlandsche Bank, centered around the theme of finance. With over 50 registrations, the interest was high. Visitors engaged in conversations with social organizations from Amsterdam Centrum and Zuid and discovered how they could make a difference for neighbors and fellow citizens who need help with financial matters, administration, or gaining an overview.
Visitors could expect personal conversations, an informal setting, snacks and drinks, and a unique opportunity to take a look inside DNB. Organizations also shared where they were seeking support: from bookkeeping and budgets to fundraising and practical assistance for residents. In a relaxed atmosphere, beautiful encounters, new ideas, and first steps towards meaningful volunteer work emerged. The participating organizations were:
