Talk House – Volunteer café for language buddies

Are you curious about the lives of new people in your neighborhood? As a social person, do you enjoy chatting with others? Do you want to share your knowledge and experience with others? And make new contacts? If you invest one or two hours per week in others, you can mean a lot to a new neighbor as a language buddy. You don’t need to have studied for it. Being able to have a conversation with someone is enough.Roelof Hartplein LibraryOn Thursday, December 12, we are organizing a Conversation House from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. In the library in the heart of Zuid, we will inform everyone who wants to know more about what it means to be a language buddy. Volunteer organizations will present themselves, and you can immediately engage in conversation with them if they interest you. All of this, of course, while enjoying some snacks and drinks.

We are inviting various organizations that are involved in different forms of language coaching for various target groups. Come and listen to see which one appeals to you the most.
