How to retain your volunteers? Webinar with Lucas Meijs and new initiatives
How do you guide voluntary energy? What have we learned?
Voluntary energy flows where it cannot go. If you ensure reciprocity in the relationship between volunteer and help-seeker, the help-seeker will more easily ask for that help. Vrijwilligersacademie and Vrijwilligers Centrale Amsterdam, together with Lucas Meijs, are organizing a series of three webinars. To explore, learn, and prepare for the future together with professor Lucas Meijs.
During the third webinar, we will be joined by a panel of people from practice and science.Monday, August 31st from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m.on how to best support and retain voluntary energy during times of crisis. What can you do as a volunteer, coordinator, organization, or municipality?
In this webinar, Lucas Meijs will address these topics with a brief lecture, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session with participants. What have we learned, what went well, and how can we do even better next time?
Panel members are:
- Lucas Meijs, professor of philanthropy and volunteering
- Marijn van Ballegooijen, alderman in Amstelveen
- Firoez Azarhoosh from Samen Vooruit
