Hands
every person (well, most of them)
has two hands
of which one is used more often
than the other
which automatically results in
having a bit left over
from one hand
not a whole hand
but still a part that falls asleep
and there are people who have figured out
how to give away that part
not as breaking off, but more kindly
as sharing speculaas.
every person (well, most of them)
sometimes craves speculaas
and every person is sometimes without hands
that’s not necessary
there are enough hands
every person sometimes has two too many.
