Accessibility VCA office – Work / adjusted tram routes from July 13, 2025

Trams will not be running on the Raadhuisstraat-Rozengracht route until February 28, 2027. This will affect the accessibility of our head office on Rozenstraat. We advise anyone traveling to this location to plan their journey carefully in advance.

The streets along the Raadhuisstraat-Mercatorplein route will be made safer and more accessible. There will be more space for pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, and greenery. In addition, seven bridges will be renovated, and the Jordaan Bridge over Lijnbaansgracht will be replaced. This will impact the accessibility of our office on Rozenstraat. Trams will also be temporarily diverted at the intersection of Marnixstraat/Rozengracht and Jan Evertsenstraat.

Accessibility and adjusted public transport routes

We advise everyone coming to our office to plan their journey carefully in advance. The Amsterdam municipality’s website shows which trams will be operating differently and what the modified routes will look like for each period. Use an up-to-date route planner such as the GVB route planner or 9292OV.nl.

The map above shows the current diversions. As of July 13th, the tram routes have been slightly adjusted again. Our head office is located at the X  on that map.
