We do this by helping volunteers discover meaningful opportunities, connecting them with local organizations in need of support, offering practical resources about volunteering in Amsterdam, and showcasing the value of volunteer work to key stakeholders.

Here’s how we put this into practice:

• Providing access to our online job board, which features more than 1,000 volunteer opportunities and helps people find roles that truly fit them.
• Offering personal consultations through our mediators to support anyone who needs guidance in choosing the right volunteer role. Make an appointment. 
• Equipping social organizations and initiatives with advisory sessions, practical information, workshops, and training so they can grow and work successfully with volunteers.
• Running public campaigns and advocating for the sector to attract new volunteers and ensure that volunteer work is recognized and appreciated across the city.
