We are looking for an intern to join our Communication team in Amsterdam and help us build awareness around our initiatives, in the Netherlands and in Honduras (check out our work at educate-ngo.com). The role will involve:Help draft communications documents to promote educate. ‘s initiatives and eventsIdentify and contact media contacts in Honduras and the Netherlands to expand educate. ‘s networkDrive media engagement opportunities in the Netherlands and abroadAssist in idea generation for the Communications and Events team

Proactive with a strong sense of initiative and passionate about education/literacy challengesEfficiency and attention to detailInterest in the media landscape (Dutch & International)Fluent in Dutch and English – proficiency in Spanish is a plusExcellent written and spoken communication skills

For all new members of the Amsterdam team, informal training, as well as ongoing mentorship, is provided. We are a close-knit team and support is always there!

WERKTIJDEN
5-8 hours/week on average. Most hours are flexible, plus weekly meetings on Thursday evenings. Preferable 6-month minimum commitment.
